Sean Noonen, President and CEO
Sean is a Native New Mexican from Gallup, New Mexico. He graduated from Gallup High School and went on to earn a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Management from the University of New Mexico’s Anderson Schools of Management and a dual concentration Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing Management and Operations Management. Sean graduated from the United States Army Logistics University’s Logistics Captain’s Career Course and Transportation Basic Officer’s Leadership Course.
Sean is an experience Grant Manager and Grant Writer with a demonstrated history of working in the government sector. Skilled in Management to include personnel and financial management, Contract Management, Grant Reporting, Continuous Process Improvement, and Developing Business Processes. He began his career in State Government almost a decade ago and joined the New Mexico National Guard soon after. Most recently Sean was the Technical and Support Supervisor for the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration's Federal Grant Bureau. His work focused on grant writing and compliance.
Sean continues to serve in the New Mexico Army National Guard. During his military career, he has held numerous positions most recently as Commander of a Forward Support Company providing logistics support to a combat arms battalion. Previously, Sean served as Executive Officer at the company level where he was deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, in support of Operation Spartan Shield.
Aurora Martinez, General Manager
Aurora is a Native New Mexican, born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Aurora graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis in Research and Statistics. During her program Aurora refined her research and data evaluation skills to include data analysis and reporting.
Experienced Grant Writer with a demonstrated history of working in government relations industry. Skilled in Research, Data Evaluation and Correlation, Grant Technical Assistance and Grant Reporting. She began her career in State Government almost a decade ago. Most recently Aurora was a Federal Grant Writer Analyst for the NM Department of Finance and Administrations Federal Grant Bureau. Prior to working and NM DFA, Aurora helped manage NM Department of Transportation’s Traffic Monitoring Program. During her tenure, Aurora implemented quality control procedures, conducted project management and data analysis to help ensure the program met the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) requirements for traffic data collection, annual reporting and compliance with procurement with federal monies.
Aurora’s background in research has given her the evaluation skills to identify federal grant opportunities for New Mexico communities and organizations. After analyzing each Notice of Funding Opportunities (NOFO) Aurora categorizes the grant opportunities based on industry sectors. Aurora further provides technical assistance to communities and organizations seeking help to apply for federal grants.
